Fundraiser for Jake Javier! Sat. August 6, 11am-11pm

Update 8/13: A BIG thank you to the McClaskey family The Wild Bunch Flowers for the beautiful flowers, Cresco for the lights that kept the party going into the night, Markstein for the shock top trailer, tents and AWESOME cruiser to raffle. Also thanks to Coors Light & Bay Area Beverage for their continued help.
Thank you to ALL our awesome employees who worked tirelessly before, during and after the event.
Last but not least, thank you to our wonderful community for coming out and showing so much love and support for Jake Javier. It was the first time in 35 years that we ran out of pizza dough. Through all this, together we were able to raise over $19,000 for Jake! Amazing!!! To see photos of the Primo’s JaviStrong fundrasier, please visit the Jake Javier Fundraiser phot album on our Facebook page:

On June 9 our Primo’s family was devastated to learn that one of our own, Jake Javier, was injured in a tragic swimming pool accident that has left him paralyzed from the chest down. Jake has worked at Primo’s for the past 2 1/2 years and is the sweetest, most hardworking young man in the world. He was going to fulfill his lifelong dream of playing college football at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in the fall. Unfortunately his life changed in an instant. Therefore we have organized a fundraiser for Jake.

Come dine at Primo’s! 50% of the proceeds of all Dine-In, Take-Out & Delivery Orders will go to Jake! We are blocking off our entire front parking lot and will be making pizzas out front in a wood burning pizza oven. The Fretful String Band will be performing Americana and original songs 11am-5pm before DJ Rick Flores takes the stage until closing! Come dance and have a good time!

Also showing up will be the Shock Top Bug and an orange Shock Top bike is going to be raffled off. Plus Pacifico will have their cool jeep on site.

Primo’s will be selling #JaviStrong t-shirts by Monte Vista High School senior Casey Rickey and his company, HighSchoolInk.  Rubber wrist bands that say JAVISTRONG (green and yellow) and Javier Strong (camoflauge) for $5 each.

Javier’s classmate Paige Badstubner and her mother are selling metal bracelets and rubber wrist bands they made. The wrist bands say “#54Strong” on one side and “We love Javi” on the other. They are also available at Snickerdoodles in Danville and at the basketball fundraiser.

Plus you can check out the bike that Norm’s Place will be raffling off on August 23.

We hope you will dine at Primo’s before or after the Javistrong SRV vs MV Basketball Fundraiser on Saturday at 5pm at the Monte Vista High School gym. If you can’t make it, please have a pizza delivered and 50% will go to Jake. Another option is to attend The JaviStrong Gala on Saturday, August 27. Visit for more details.
